Before shipping customized or personalized items back for a return, ensure they meet Adidas’ criteria, including being unworn and in their original condition. Keep your order confirmation handy, use appropriate packaging to protect the item during transit, and follow Adidas’ instructions for return labels if provided. What Is The Return Policy On Adidas?

Adidas typically offers a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase.

 

RETURNING A STORE PURCHASE

Check your receipt to find out if you purchased your item from one of our retail stores or a franchise store. Our franchise stores carry the adidas logo, but have their own return policy. Cannot find this on your receipt? Contact our customer service and we’ll help you.

RETAIL STORES

Bring the item you wish to return to the store within 30 days (or 14 days for limited items such as hype items) from the date of purchase. We accept returns on any adidas items from our stores except for swimwear, underwear, toiletries, cosmetics, shoe care products, and customized items.

Everything you return should be in good condition. Make sure you don’t cut off tags if there are any. Pack all items in their original packaging.

Bring your original receipt. Can’t find it? You can bring your credit card or bank statement and we can try to retrace your payment.

FRANCHISE STORES

Franchise stores have their own return policies. Get in touch with the store where you got your item from to find out its return policy.

 

  • If you return an item that’s in good condition or cancel your order, you’ll automatically receive a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued back to your original form of payment within the Refund Timeline.
  • Orders paid with a gift card will be refunded with a new digital gift card and emailed directly to the email address on file for the order.
  • Returns on orders paid partially with a gift card will have the gift card balance refunded in full prior to refunding the credit card on file.

RETURNED AN ITEM

When your return arrives at the warehouse, we’ll have to do a quality check. Because of this, it takes up to 5 business days to process your return. You’ll receive an email once we initiate your refund.

You’ll receive your refund within 30 days once we’ve processed your return in the warehouse.

adidas e-gift card

Choosing the adidas e-gift card is the fastest way to receive your refund. You’ll receive the gift card via email immediately after we’ve processed your return at the warehouse.

The gift card is valid for 3 years and is immediately ready for use. You can use it for online or in-store purchases – you don’t have to use the entire amount at once. Want to share the e-gift card with a friend? Go for it!

Klarna

Did you pay with Klarna? Klarna handles the refund process.

If you didn’t pay anything yet, visit the Klarna Portal. Select your adidas order and indicate what you’ve returned. Klarna will temporarily pause your payment until the return has been processed and will send you a new invoice if you still have an open payment. If you receive a payment reminder while the return is in progress, please contact Klarna directly.

What Is Adidas Online Return Policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your adidas order, we offer a full refund within 30 days of receipt. The following restrictions may apply.

  • Certain items are designated as final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. The product page indicates whether an item is a final sale item. For example, face Covers are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to safety reasons. However, if your product is defective and you are legally entitled to a refund, you may contact our customer service to start the return process.
  • Bad Bunny Puerto Rico products are final sale and, therefore, may not be returned or exchanged. For more details about the Bad Bunny products, please see the “HOW DO I RETURN MY BAD BUNNY PRODUCT” section below, which contains some additional and different terms from our US returns policy.
  • Any seasonal surcharges will be included in your order’s delivery total and are non-refundable.
  • Because personalized products are made just for you, they are not returnable.
  • Hype products should be returned via the online returns portal within seven days of the delivery date. The product page communicates the seven-day return window during the ordering process.
  • If you place an order during the holiday promotional period (as noted in our Return FAQs), your order is eligible for a 60-day return from the time of delivery unless one of the above restrictions applies.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

We kindly ask you to also meet the following conditions:

  • The product is in its original state and packaging.
  • Apparel has the original tags attached.
  • Accessories have all parts of the original packaging.
  • Footwear is in the original shoe box.
  • Please note that we are unable to accept any right of withdrawal from you for customised & personal items as these are made uniquely for you. These items can only be returned to us if there is a manufacturing defect.
  • For products with a protective polythene lining: If the protective lining has been removed, the product cannot be returned or exchanged due to health protection reasons.

What Is Adidas Exchanging?

 

Did you order the wrong size or color? You can exchange your item for free within 30 days after receiving your order.

HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM

Everything you exchange should be in its original state and packaging. Make sure you don’t cut off tags if there are any.

Start an exchange on our website or the app and follow the instructions. You’ll receive all the details you need before dropping off your package at the drop-off point.

Make sure to drop off your parcel within 5 days after letting us know you want to exchange the item. Exchange with the carrier that’s mentioned on your exchange label to avoid costs.

IN-STORE PURCHASES

Did you buy your items at one of our stores? You can only exchange these by going back to the store.

CANCELLED AN ITEM

You can cancel an order within 15 minutes of receiving your confirmation email. This won’t cost you anything.

Credit card

The reservation on your credit card will be canceled automatically.

PayPal

Once you’ve canceled your order, we’ll immediately initiate a refund issued to your PayPal account.

Klarna

Did you already pay an instalment with Klarna? You’ll be reimbursed within 6 days.
