How do I return a SEPHORA online purchase?
Items purchased or received as a gift from Sephora.com may be returned. Return shipping is free by using the Merchandise Return label, which is included with every online order. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except if the item is being returned due to an error made by Sephora.
Items that were returned through the mail within 60 days of purchase will be refunded in full to the original credit card used to place the order. Items received 61 to 90 days after the purchase date will be refunded in the form of online store credit. Items that were paid for using online store credit, eGift Certificate or Sephora Gift Card can only be refunded through online store credit. Sephora does not allow returns for items purchased over 90 days ago. Exchanges by mail are not available.
Printable return labels are available for free on the Sephora website. It can take a maximum of 30 days to process your return. Items purchased on Sephora.com can be returned to any free-standing Sephora store. You will need to bring the credit card used to purchase the item, plus the order summary and return form with you.
Gift returns can be arranged by calling 1-877-SEPHORA and will be refunded in the form of online store credit. Orders placed on Amazon.com can be returned for a full refund within 60 days. From 61 to 90 days, refunds will be issued as an online store credit, redeemable by calling 1-877-SEPHORA.

What if I made a purchase in a Sephora store or at Sephora in JCPenney Store?
Purchases made in a Sephora store or at Sephora in JCPenney locations must be returned to a retail store. Sephora does not accept mailed returns for merchandise purchased in-store.
For online purchases, items can be returned by mail. When your return has been received by Sephora’s warehouse and is being processed, an e-mail will be sent to you. It will contain details of the returned items that were received, as well as information concerning your refund. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
What if I used a store credit card?
Any items that were paid for using store credit, an eGift certificate, or that were received as gifts will be refunded through store credit. Any items that were returned after 60 days from purchase will only be refunded as an online store credit. These credits can be redeemed at Sephora’s website and will apply automatically when you place an order online.
