Neiman Marcus has a customer-friendly return policy that allows you to return most items within 30 days of purchase, with a few exceptions.

But it’s important to note that Neiman Marcus requires proof of purchase, such as a receipt or packing slip, for all returns. To initiate a return, you can use the prepaid return label included with your order or return your item to a Neiman Marcus store. If you prefer to mail your return, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping. Overall, Neiman Marcus’ return policy is very reasonable and easy to navigate. What does the Return Policy say?

At Neiman Marcus, we respect and value every customer. Because your trust is important to us, we want you to be completely happy with every purchase. If you are unsatisfied, we are glad to accept returns of saleable merchandise for a full refund or exchange. Refunds are credited to the original form of payment. The following rules apply:

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt.
  • Returned merchandise should be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn, undamaged, saleable, with original tags and packaging (if applicable).
  • Altered apparel, special orders, cloth face mask coverings, perishable or personalized/monogrammed items, and items identified as “final sale” cannot be returned.
  • We are happy to honor requests for adjustment if your merchandise was purchased at regular price and then reduced within ten days of purchase.
  • Neiman Marcus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if returned merchandise is in saleable condition.

What is the Return Policy for In-Store?

Eligible items may be returned to a Neiman Marcus store for credit within 30 days of the delivery date. Bring the merchandise and either your return slip (if your purchase was made online) or receipt (from in-store purchases) to any store sales associate.

Neiman Marcus stores cannot process returns for items purchased at Bergdorf Goodman, Last Call, and Horchow stores online or via catalog.

What is the Gift Return Policy for In-Store?

Bring the merchandise and either your return slip (if the purchase was made online) or receipt (from in-store purchases) to any store sales associate. A Neiman Marcus Group Merchandise Credit Gift Card will be issued to the recipient for the amount of the returned merchandise. The card can be used for store, online, and catalog purchases from Neiman Marcus, Horchow, Last Call, and Bergdorf Goodman. For gifts valued at more than $2,000.00, the recipient will receive a check instead of a gift card in compliance with federal law.

Neiman Marcus stores cannot process returns for items purchased at Bergdorf Goodman, Last Call, and Horchow stores online or via catalog.

What is the Online Exchange Policy?

At Neiman Marcus, we respect and value every customer. Because your trust is important to us, we want you to be completely happy with every purchase. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer an even-dollar exchange for an alternate size or color of the same item. If your item does not meet the conditions outlined below, please visit your local Neiman Marcus store to conduct the exchange. Find your store here. The following rules and restrictions apply:

  • Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of receipt.
  • If the original item is not returned within 30 days of exchange submission, you will be charged for the original item.
  • By submitting an online exchange, you authorize Neiman Marcus to a.) credit the original form of payment for the item being returned and b.) charge the original form of payment for the new item upon outgoing shipment.
  • Only items purchased online and delivered to your specified address qualify for online exchange; items purchased or pickup in store must be exchanged in-store.
  • Items received as a gift or purchased with a gift card do not qualify for online exchange. Please visit your nearest Neiman Marcus store for assistance or contact Customer Care.

What does the Holiday Return Policy?

Purchases from 11/1/22 through 12/16/22 will have an extended return policy through 1/15/23. All other terms and conditions of our Return Policy remain in effect.
